To: Mill Water School Staff

Dear colleagues

I am very excited about Mill Water School joining the Trust. We are very much looking forward to meeting you, talking with you, discussing the challenges, priorities, opportunities and working with you in partnership across the Trust.

The Trust will work very hard with the current School Leadership Team to understand the context of the school and the current priorities. The Trust will be working in partnership with staff on shared priorities.

Over the next few weeks, I wanted to share with you the immediate next steps:

    • Communicating with, and hopefully meeting, as many pupils, staff, parents, carers and members of the community as possible.
    • Meeting with school staff and governors to develop shared priorities and allocating resources based on the information that is shared and the evidence that is gathered from speaking with staff, parents, carers and members of the community.

I will of course share the details of The Special Partnership Trust and the Trust team in detail with you in due course and answer all of your questions. The Trust will work with you, at a suitable pace to ensure that all staff, parents, carers, pupils and the community have the opportunity to ask questions and are given time to understand the intention, implementation and impact.
