Christmas at Killerton
Pupils in Gemma M’s class had wonderful festive fun at Killerton National Trust estate this week. They enjoyed the outdoor activities before having a tour of the beautifully decorated house.
Children in Need
Pupils did amazingly with their Children in Need sponsored events, raising a staggering £1329.19 for young disadvantaged people across the UK. Thank you to everyone who supported their fundraising!
Special Recognition for Artwork
Our three pupils who recently participated in an international Peace Poster competition received special recognition and a certificate this week from Lions District Governor for the South West, Lesley Chudley. She said in a letter: “It was really lovely to see these young people being included in this way and I will take great pride displaying them [their artwork] alongside the others who entered.” The pupils were presented with their certificates today by Budleigh Salterton Lions Chair, Richard Allen.
Don’t forget to buy your tickets for our amazing Mill Water Christmas Raffle 2022! Top prize: a night away for two with dinner and breakfast!
Even more fantastic prizes have been donated this past week, including a £20 Amazon voucher, a high-quality set of stainless steel saucepans (worth more than £200), festive hampers, and even a giant cuddly carrot called Kevin!
Tickets (£1 per strip of 5) are on sale here or from the Admin Team (if you send money in an envelope into school), until Tuesday 13th December. Your tickets will then be sent home with your child. We will also be selling tickets when you arrive for your child’s class Christmas activities.
All money raised will go directly towards enrichment resources and activities for all pupils.
More details and a full list of prizes can be found here
The Grand Draw will be on Wednesday 14th December.

Class Appeal for Jigsaws and Games
Niki 's class would love some more games and jigsaw puzzles! If you have any lying around at home that are in good condition and you no longer want, we would be grateful if they could be donated to us. Thank you!
